There has be a lot going on at NPIHN. So much that we did not find the time to share any of it with you on our website.

Let's get right to the good news:

 

1. Multiple congratulations to Lorna (NPIHN Alumni from 2007), who received her Associates Degree from Community College and won the Terri Lynne Lokoff Early Childhood prize.  Lorna is using her prize money to set up a music center in her classroom. Furthermore, her oldest daughter just received her BA from Penn State! We are so very proud of both of you!

 

2. Thanks to Germantown Jewish Centre’s Kidz Stuff Swap and Electronics Recycling Day which benefited NPIHN we received $4,700!  This is a true trash to treasure story that will result in extra hours for our Job Developer and camp scholarship opportunities for our children!  Many thanks to all of the organizers and everyone who came to the events.

 

3. Three of our families moved out of our emergency shelter program and are taking the next step to self-sufficiency! Congratulations to Erica, Karima, Lee Ann on their recent move to housing! Many thanks to the congregations and volunteers who hosted them during the past few months. We are very proud of them and wish them the best of luck in their journey!

 

4. Gifts, gifts, more gifts! Here at NPIHN we are blessed to have many friends and supporters who think of us whenever they have something that can brighten our families' day. We cannot thank you enough for your sweet, fun and kind presents!
